Job Description: Business Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking a Business Analyst (BA) to join KHantix’s growing team. In this role, you will help bridge between business needs and technical implementation, support requirement gathering, documentation, and ensure that solutions meet business objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers, and analysts to contribute to data/BI projects in a fast-growing data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct surveys, gather requirement information, and align with clients.
• Prepare business requirement specifications and system design documents.
• Develop and document functional and business specifications for products/services.
• Write user manuals for products and support the creation of other documentation for analysis and evaluation according to agreed checklists.
• Assist in the software testing process.
• Report to the direct manager on results and collaborate with management to address issues arising during work.
• Provide support to other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and an ability to think logically and systematically.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; capable of communicating with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Basic familiarity with data/BI tools, data concepts or data analytics environments (e.g. SQL, reporting tools, data warehouses).
• Eagerness to learn, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.

(*) Preferred

• Some exposure to data analytics, BI, or data-driven projects.
• Knowledge of data warehouse / BI concepts, data modeling or ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Microsoft data/analytics ecosystem (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Azure, data services).
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodology or project workflows.
• Ability to draft process flows, user stories/use cases, and other BA documentation (e.g. using Visio, Draw.io, flowchart tools).
