Job Description: Data Engineer 

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data infrastructure using Microsoft’s suite of data services. As a Data Engineer at KHantix, you will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines, implementing scalable data storage solutions, and ensuring data quality and accessibility across the organization. Your work will directly support our mission to create innovative data analytics solutions that drive business success in the AI-first era.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support data integration and analytics initiatives
• Implement and optimize data storage solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and other Microsoft data services
• Develop and maintain data models, databases, and data warehouses to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and provide solutions
• Implement data quality controls and monitoring systems to maintain high data integrity
• Document data architecture, pipelines, and processes to ensure knowledge sharing across the team
• Continuously research and adopt best practices in data engineering to improve our data infrastructure
• Support the integration of data systems with AI/ML platforms and applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft data analytics solutions
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and other programming languages relevant to data engineering
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts
• Experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and its components for end-to-end analytics solutions
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing team at KHantix. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights using Microsoft’s powerful analytics tools. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, analyze data patterns, and create compelling visualizations that help drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of BI reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and other BI tools
• Clean, transform, and analyze data to extract meaningful insights for various business units
• Create visually appealing and informative data visualizations to present findings effectively
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to support business decision-making
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to answer specific business questions and support strategic initiatives
• Document analytical processes, data sources, and report specifications for knowledge sharing
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BI trends and technologies to continuously improve our BI capabilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Excel for data analysis and visualization
• Basic understanding of SQL and database management
• Ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication skills to effectively present data findings to technical and non-technical audiences
• English proficiency with IELTS 6.5+ or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
